I was reading an article on the Google yesterday, and apparently Edmonton’s photrader issues more than 8-10 more speeding tickets than all departments across Ontario. All within a year. Seems crazy.

Care to share the article? I knew Edm. was pretty thorough with their coverage, but that sounds outlandish. Perhaps the OPP union is better at getting people into the budget instead of cameras.

Ever been through Hinton?
http://www.hintonparklander.com/2012/01/16/pho…
In 2011 speeding ticket revenue from the roadside motion sensors situated in various parts of Hinton generated $543,700
Over the four-and-half years photo radar has been present in Hinton, Pagely has seen the sensors generate a consistent amount of revenue for the town each year. The majority of the radar’s victims have been travelers making their way through Hinton, and Pagely estimates that 95 per cent of the drivers billed for speeding do not reside in Hinton.
